KGP Mitra - Farmers Income Enhancement Specialist.

    We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a KGP Mitra (Kisan Goods Price Mitra). As a KGP Mitra, you will play a crucial role in helping farmers enhance their income through the use of the KGP app (Kisan Goods Price). The KGP app is designed to empower farmers by providing them with real-time information about market prices for their agricultural products, connecting them directly with consumers and wholesalers, and enabling them to sell their products at competitive rates.


    Responsibilities:

  • Farmer Outreach: Actively engage with farmers in the local community to raise awareness about the KGP app and its benefits. Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations to educate farmers on how to effectively utilize the app to maximize their income.

  • App Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training to farmers on how to navigate the KGP app, access market price information, and list their products for sale. Address any technical issues or challenges they may encounter and offer ongoing support to ensure farmers can utilize the app seamlessly.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated with current market trends, pricing dynamics, and demand patterns for various agricultural products. Analyze data from the KGP app to identify opportunities for farmers to optimize their pricing strategies and make informed decisions regarding crop selection and cultivation practices.

  • Income Enhancement Strategies: Collaborate with farmers to develop income enhancement strategies based on market insights and product demand. Advise farmers on diversifying their product portfolio, adopting value-added practices, and exploring direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels to maximize their earnings.

    • Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural practices,crop cycles, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with farmers and build relationships.
  • Technically proficient with smartphones, mobile applications, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by farmers and a passion for improving their income opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
  • Flexibility to travel to different agricultural areas as required.
